Telehealth Sessions

Instead of coming to the office, for those of you who are social distancing or prefer virtual sessions for their convenience, Telehealth sessions are available. Virtual sessions might be our primary way of meeting or just a complement to meeting in person at my Center City office.

Electronic paperwork

All new clients can complete paperwork in a confidential online portal using a phone or computer. After you contact me, we will touch base on the phone so that I can learn about what you are looking for and if we might be a good fit in working together. Next, I will send you a personal link via email to do your paperwork. All will be set before we meet in the virtual therapy room, and you’ll get automated appointment reminders, too.

Video Sessions

Some people are hesitant about video sessions and are unsure that therapy across the screen will feel as helpful as meeting in person. I do agree that meeting in person is ideal, but my experience is that therapy feels very similar on video, in part because it is essentially a sit-down conversation. I can assure you that you will likely experience video sessions as helpful and comforting, just as if you had come to my office and sat in the space with me. You can use your phone or your computer to link to private video sessions. I use HIPAA compliant software and am conscientious about the security of your confidential information. Some clients will have the challenge of finding privacy to do the session on their end due to space or childcare; we can troubleshoot possible options together.

Electronic Billing

I use square invoices that I can email to you during session and they can be paid by credit card or health savings cards. Paid statements can be accessed by signing into your online portal, or I can send them directly to you electronically so that you can apply for out-of-network benefits with your insurance company.
